The Villedieu Basin : a haven of peace and serenity for fishing

A leisure known and reputed in La Manche
La Fédération Départementale de Pêche of the Manche improves and manages the Sienne-Soulles section. This vast sloped basin is composed of valleys often majestic, fed by a pretty network of fascinating streams. Amongst them, is La Soulles, which joins le Havre at Montmartin-sur-Mer before merging and pouring into the Sienne and the Airou. This last river is a natural joy known in Europe, which sees each year one of the first batches of young Atlantic salmon arrive in the area.
